CT MATTERS

 

     CT Matters is a nonprofit, nonpartisan go-to site for information important to CT residents.  It is a site under active development that will include information about our towns, our state, and the nation. Our model was inspired by information barriers to voting, difficulty searching for reliable information and the need to provide easy access to issues important to CT voters.

 

     The Information Corner covers topics of direct concern for CT voters. The topics have identifiable sources and are linked to the official reports to satisfy visitors who have an appetite for research details. This site is continually evolving as we create new features tailored to meet voter needs as well as helpful information about the state of Connecticut and its' communities. 

 

     Our nation’s culture is one of busy lives and little time to search out dependable sources for essential information to keep us in touch with critical aspects related to the health of our communities, our state, and our nation.   In the new world of paperless communication, there is a need for easily retrievable data, reports, and events that help us answer the question of how does CT measure up to the rest of the nation.
